P.1-3 NET Reading Sessions:
The P.1-3 NET (Native English Teacher) Reading Sessions are designed to nurture early literacy skills and foster a love for reading among young learners. These sessions aim to provide a supportive and engaging environment where students can explore a variety of texts, improve their comprehension, and enhance their English language proficiency. Through interactive storytelling, guided reading, and fun language activities, the programme helps students develop essential reading strategies, expand their vocabulary, and build confidence in using English effectively.
P.4-6 School-Based Reading Programme:
This programme is delivered through engaging regular reading workshops, providing students with opportunities to explore diverse texts, develop critical thinking, and foster a love for reading. By integrating this initiative into the school curriculum, we aim to empower students to become confident, independent readers equipped with the skills necessary for their academic journey and beyond.
2. Activities:
Reading Week – Chinese Culture and Conservation
By organizing a series of reading and related activities, we aimed to enrich students' English learning experiences while fostering positive values. Additionally, these activities enhanced students' understanding of Chinese culture and raised their awareness of the importance of protecting endangered animals.
Field Trips:
Students from P.3 embarked on an exciting field trip to Maritime Square, where they had the opportunity to explore a diverse array of shops. This was a valuable educational experience, combining fun with practical learning about shopping and the marketplace.
The P.4 students went on an exciting field trip to Mei Ho House.The students learned about the daily lives of residents in the past, gaining insights into the culture and history of the area. Engaging activities and informative exhibits allowed them to appreciate the significance of Mei Ho House as a reflection of the city's development over the years.
Christmas Celebrations
